Old-Fashioned Apple Pie
|4 c. sliced apples||2 Tbsp. butter|
|1/2 c. sugar||1/4 tsp. nutmeg|
|1/2 c. molasses||1/2 tsp. cinnamon|
|9 inch pie crust; unbaked (top & bottom)|
Fill pie shell with apples. Sprinkle with sugar and pour on molasses. Dot with butter and sprinkle with spices. Adjust top crust. Flute or pinch edges. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30 minutes or crust is golden.
