Chocolate Pie
Ingredients
1-1/3 cups sugar
3 TBS flour
3 TBS cocoa
3 eggs
1 large can Pet milk
1 tsp
.
vanilla extract
1 unbaked deep dish pie crust
1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
In a mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, & cocoa
Mix well
Add egg yolks (keep whites for meringue
)
Gradually add milk stirring until well blended
Add vanilla
Pour into unbaked pie crust
Bake at 350° F for 40 to 45 minutes
Beat egg whites until stiff adding 1/2 cup sugar for
meringue
Cover pie with meringue
& bake at 400° until lightly browned
