Chocolate Pound Cake
|1/2 c. cocoa||1/2 c. shortening|
|3 c. sugar||2 sticks margarine|
|5 eggs||1 c. milk|
|3 c. flour||1 c. milk|
|1 tsp. vanilla||1/2 tsp. baking powder|
Blend shortening, margarine, egg yolks, and vanilla together. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in last. Bake in tube (greased and floured) pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
