The Egypt Game

Game 1
While playing Game 1, you will visit Internet sites to read about Egypt and you will also create a map showing important places and facts.
(Ask your teacher if you may work with a partner.)

Materials you will need: Large poster board, pencils/colored pens, markers, crayons, scissors.
Draw an outline map of Egypt on poster board.
Draw and label the Nile River.
Locate and label the location of six (or more)of these famous
Egyptian cities: Luxor, Kom Ombo, Cairo, El Giza, Saqqara, Edfu
or Idfu, and Aswan.
On the poster, write five interesting facts about the geography
of Egypt. (Remember to use complete sentences).
Add a compass rose to your map.
Add pictures (copied from the Internet or hand-drawn)
Color your poster.
On a separate piece of paper, write a bibliography of the web
sites you visit.
