Macaroon Pie

Ingredients

1 cup light Karo syrup 3 eggs, slightly beaten
3 TBS  margarine, melted 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract 1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans pinch salt
unbaked pie crust Cool Whip

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°.  Combine slightly beaten eggs, syrup, almond extract, melted margarine, brown sugar, & salt.  Beat until well mixed.  Stir in coconut & pecans.  Pour into pie crust.   Bake 45 minutes .  Let cool.  Top with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
