Macaroon Pie
Ingredients
1 cup light Karo syrup | 3 eggs, slightly beaten |
3 TBS margarine, melted | 1/2 cup light brown sugar |
1/2 tsp. almond extract | 1 cup flaked coconut |
1 cup chopped pecans | pinch salt |
unbaked pie crust | Cool Whip |
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine slightly beaten eggs, syrup, almond extract, melted margarine, brown sugar, & salt. Beat until well mixed. Stir in coconut & pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake 45 minutes . Let cool. Top with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
