Mystery Pie

Ingredients

3 beaten egg whites 1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla extract
23 rolled (crushed) Ritz crackers 1/2 pint whipping cream
2 TBS instant cocoa 1/4 stick oleo

Preparation

  1. Beat egg whites & sugar until stiff
  2. Fold in remaining ingredients except whipped cream & cocoa
  3. Place in Buttered pie plate
  4. Shape to sides & bottom of plate
  5. Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes
  6. Cool
  7. Whip 1/2 pint of whipping cream with 2 TBS instant cocoa
  8. Use to top cooled pie
