Petite Pecan Pies



8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup flour, sifted 2 eggs
2 TBS margarine, softened 1 cup brown sugar
pinch  salt 2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans


Soften cream cheese & margarine at room temperature.  Blend well & add flour.  Chill pastry for 1 hour.  Shape into 2 doz. 1 inch balls.   Place balls in tiny ungreased muffin tins.  Press dough on bottom & then up the sides.  Add filling as directed below.


Mix together eggs, 2 TBS margarine, brown sugar, salt, vanilla, & chopped pecans.  Put about 1 teaspoon of filling in each of the unbaked shells.  Bake at 350° for 15 to s0 minutes.  Reduce heat to 250° and bake an additional  15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
