Pie Crust for 9 inch Pie
Ingredients
2 cups flour |
3/4 cup margarine |
1/2 tsp. salt |
5 to 6 Tbsp. ice water |
Preparation
- Mix together flour and salt
- Cut in (using pastry blender or 2 knives)margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Sprinkle with ice water and mix together until pastry forms a ball
- Roll out on floured surface, reserving 1/2 of pastry for top crust
- Bake as directed for pie recipe
