Pie Crust for 9 inch Pie


2 cups flour 3/4 cup margarine
1/2 tsp. salt 5 to 6 Tbsp. ice water


  1. Mix together flour and salt
  2. Cut in (using pastry blender or 2 knives)margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
  3. Sprinkle with ice water and mix together until pastry forms a ball
  4. Roll out on floured surface, reserving 1/2 of pastry for top crust
  5. Bake as directed for pie recipe
