Pineapple Chess Pie
Ingredients
1 cup sugar | 2 tbs. flour |
1/2 tsp. nutmeg | 1/4 tsp. salt |
3 tbs. sour cream | 1/2 cup butter melted |
3 eggs, lightly beaten | 1/2 cup Pet milk |
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained | 2 tsp. vanilla extract |
1 pie shell, unbaked | Cool Whip (if desired) |
Preparation
Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten eggs & mix well. Combine flour,
salt, & nutmeg. & add to sugar mixture. Stir in drained pineapple,
milk, sour cream & vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for
45 minutes or until lightly browned. Top each slice with Cool Whip if desired.
