Pineapple Chess Pie


1 cup sugar 2 tbs. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbs. sour cream 1/2 cup butter melted
3 eggs, lightly beaten 1/2 cup Pet milk
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained 2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 pie shell, unbaked Cool Whip (if desired)


Cream sugar and butter.  Add beaten eggs & mix well.  Combine flour, salt, & nutmeg. & add to sugar mixture.  Stir  in drained pineapple, milk, sour cream & vanilla. Pour into  unbaked pie shell.  Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Top each slice with Cool Whip if desired.
