Pineapple Chess Pie
|1 cup sugar||2 tbs. flour|
|1/2 tsp. nutmeg||1/4 tsp. salt|
|3 tbs. sour cream||1/2 cup butter melted|
|3 eggs, lightly beaten||1/2 cup Pet milk|
|1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained||2 tsp. vanilla extract|
|1 pie shell, unbaked||Cool Whip (if desired)|
Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten eggs & mix well. Combine flour, salt, & nutmeg. & add to sugar mixture. Stir in drained pineapple, milk, sour cream & vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Top each slice with Cool Whip if desired.
